The Energetic Marriage of East and West
Tantra is the most complex and widely misunderstood branch of Yoga. Tantra is a practice-oriented system and the source and foundation of Hatha Yoga. This training includes a synergistic blend of theory and practice into the techniques of Hatha Yoga according to Tantra. We will explore the foundational text The Hatha Yoga Pradipika to inform and context our exploration. We will also be joined by master teacher Stuart Sovatsky PhD who offers us an interpretative lens in which to integrate and share the teachings.
Open to students and teachers of all levels ready for a journey of self-empowerment and discovery.

Exploring advanced pranayama for energy enhancement and specific conditions
The art of creating powerful and effective sequencing
The foundation for practicing and teaching yoga as therapy
Gain a broader understanding of Tantra as a modern and holistic practice
Explore classical texts such as the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and the Vajnana Bhairava Tantra
Mantra, Mudra, Bhanda and Yantra
The 12 Wisdom Goddesses
Shat Karmas
Prana Vayus and the biodynamic and energetic effects of asanas

Friday: 5:30pm - 8:30pm
Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm & 2:00pm - 5:00pm & 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Sunday: 8:00am - 1:00pm
Location to be announced for those attending in person. For those attending online, you will be provided with a Zoom link for all live sessions. All sessions will be recorded and available on our course platform for review or if you cannot attend a live session. All above times are based in Pacific Standard Time.
Investment: $525 (+GST)
This training is open to all interested students and aspiring teachers. Tantra may be taken as a stand alone training. Tantra is also Module 1 of our 300 Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training. Find more information on our 300 Hour YTT here.
