The science of Ayurveda and Yoga share common origins and are highly complimentary in terms of health and well-being as well as spiritual evolution. In this training, you will learn the foundational principles of Ayurveda and how to apply them to your life and yoga practice.

Tridoshas and the 5 Great Elements
The 20 Attributes
The 3 Gunas, Kosha Bodies, Prana Vayus
The 3 subtle essences: Prana, Tejas & Ojas
Yoga for each Dosha type
Ayurvedic Nutrition
Lifestyle tips for each dosha
Breathing and Meditation techniques for each dosha
Rhythms: circadian, seasonal, hormonal
Daily routine: Dinacharya
How to create a home Pancha Karma
Yoga with marma points
*This training does not qualify students to treat or diagnose. The intention with this course is for students to broaden their study, practice and integration of the teachings of Ayurveda and Yoga for their own personal pratice and teaching.
Training Schedule
Friday, May 20 - Sunday, May 22 and Friday, June 24 - Sunday, June 26, 2022
Friday: 5:30pm - 8:30pm
Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm & 2:00pm - 5:00pm
Sunday: 8:00am - 1:00pm
For those attending online, you will be provided with a Zoom link for all live sessions. All sessions will be recorded and available on our course platform for review or if you cannot attend a live session. All above times are based in Pacific Time.
INVESTMENT: $550 (Includes GST)
This training is open to all interested students and aspiring teachers. Ayurveda may be taken as a stand alone training. Ayurveda is also Module 5 of our 300 Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training. Find more information on our 300 Hour YTT here.
