Focus + Rest: A 4 Week Yoga & Yoga Nidra Series Online


This 4 week Virtual Yoga & Yoga Nidra Series has been designed to help relieve tension and stress so that you can begin a new week feeling well-rested, focused and at ease in your body.

Each class consists of 30 minutes of a mixed level, feel good yoga practice with just the right combination of stretch and strength, and 30 minutes of deeply restorative yoga nidra.

Mindful Rest Yoga Nidra is a sleep-based practice of meditative self-inquiry. Practiced in a comfortable shavasana position, Yoga Nidra can be used as a technique to induce deep relaxation, overcome insomnia, reduce the effects of stress, resolve trauma, overcome addictions, anxiety, depression, fear, anger and self-limiting beliefs and patterns.

During Yoga Nidra we become submerged in receptive and eventually deeply meditative states of consciousness and brain wave states. Yoga Nidra is specifically designed to allow you to enter a sleep-like state while remaining consciously alert and awake. In this state we become witness to the nature of our body, thoughts, emotions and beliefs.

You will need: yoga mat, 2-3 blankets, cushion or bolster for low back support and an eye mask (optional)
